Press Releases! You never know where they can lead

When OnStage Publishing launched our press release for our "Donation Machine" we were contacted by the Theatre Conspiracy in Florida. They wanted to know if they could use our new smart phone AP for their organization. We decided it would work well, and set them up for a trial. For those not familiar with the application, patrons use their smart phones to read a QR code we place in the printed program. Once loaded on their phone, they can access a live audience feed to comment, and actually make a pledge to the organization.

In the package of marketing materials we provided to all of our clients, we included a press release that we suggested be submitted to the local newspapers. Theatre Conspiracy " jumped on the idea" and submitted the release to their local paper, it was picked up by Chris Silk Theatre Critic and Social Media Director for the Naples Daily News.....he had some great things to say OnStage Publication's services, and Theatre Conspiracy's forward thinking on the use of technology... you can read more here.

So the moral of the story is...for all of our clients that have the app, let the press know about what you are doing, how you are using technology....you never know how it can get you quality press coverage.
