Don't confuse Value with Price

With all the associated difficulties with reduction in staffing and reduced budgets in preparing your programs, it is often too easy to look only at price as the single determining factor to guide decision-making.  Don't make a critical mistake that can have long term negatives impacting your organization.  There are two factors governing buying decisions:
  • Price Shoppers: someone only focused on lowest price to make their buying decision
  • Value Shoppers: someone looking for a combination of product quality, customer service and reasonable pricing to make their buying decision
  • Value shopping pays greater dividends - Remember Price is what you pay, Value is what you receive!
